Yes even when there is a Serial Jumping Offender like Barry it can catch me by surprise if I am looking at another frog! Especially as most of the frogs are very good at taking off quietly so the first sign is literally Barry-On-Your-Face! (or Wanda-Up-Your-Nose!)
