This is actually A+ cat management.

“Mirroring” is a big thing with cats. It’s why they will lay in similar positions several feet apart, or will come and try to do things when you do them.
It’s a sign that they love you and want to show.

This cat wants to be close to its owner, and also wants to do what its owner is doing, to be involved in some way.

Giving them their own thing to use is a really great way to redirect them and allow them to mirror the behavior in a non-disruptive way that frustrates neither party.

This is a GOOD IDEA.

More ill-advised Dungeons & Dragons adventure premises:

  • hired by giant rats to evict gang of halflings from basement
  • massive and indestructible but extraordinarily sluggish monster begins to destroy countryside very, very slowly
  • animated skeletons successfully argue that vitalist language in city charter means anti-gambling statutes technically don’t apply to them; new graveyard casino disrupts status quo of criminal underworld
  • asked to escort empty wagon to nearby city; journey complicated by imaginary monsters attempting to steal valuable nothing
  • sapient magic items form labour union

WHY EATING SEASONALLY IS IMPORTANT

•save money – food is at it’s highest supply

•food is better – it is grown closer to home so less likely to rot

•support local, sustainable farmers

•more environmentally friendly

Okay but WHOSE seasonal is this? Is this the Northern USA? Southern USA? The UK? France? Italy? Morocco? Brazil? Australia? Because WHAT IS SEASONAL VARIES BASED ON WHERE YOU LIVE. So without at least some guidance on where this “seasonal” menu is meant to be consumed, it’s not very helpful to most people.
